WH1602B is a 16x2 character LCD display with a COB (Chip on Board) structure and a 2.26-inch diagonal display size. The module measures 80.0 x 36.0 x 13.5 mm, with an active area of 56.2 x 11.5 mm. It supports 5V operation, with a 3V option also available, and includes 8-character CGRAM for user-defined characters.
The WH1602B series is available with 6800 parallel, 4-line SPI, and I2C interfaces. For the SPI and I2C versions, the serial interface controller is integrated directly into the COB structure, eliminating the need for an additional external interface control board. The I2C version requires only two I/O lines and can be controlled through hardware or software.
