Description

WH2004G is a 2.89-inch 20x4 monochrome character LCD display with 20 characters per line across 4 lines. The module uses a COB (Chip on Board) structure and integrates the RW1063 LCD controller. WH2004G uses a 6800 4/8-bit parallel interface by default, while separate 4-line SPI (WH2004G1) and I2C (WH2004G2) versions are also available.

The module measures 87.0 x 58.0 x 13.6 mm, with a viewing area (VA) of 74.4 x 24.8 mm. The default supply voltage is 5V, with a 3V option also available. When using the 3V supply configuration, the negative voltage supply is limited to 3V.

WH2004G is available with multiple LCD display modes and LED backlight options. Available configurations vary by interface version, as shown in the table below. Depending on the module configuration, LED backlight connections are available through PIN1/PIN2, PIN15/PIN16, or dedicated A/K terminals.
