The WH2004B is a 20x4 character LCD module built with the ST7066 controller IC. It features a compact design with a 2.89-inch display size and operates at +5V (optional +3V; negative voltage only for +3V version). The module supports an operating temperature range of -20℃ to +70℃ and a storage range of -30℃ to +80℃.
WH2004B offers multiple backlight options, including blue, green, yellow-green, amber, red, and white LEDs. The LEDs can be driven via PIN1, PIN2, PIN15, PIN16, or A/K pins.
The WH2004B has the same outline, view area, and active area dimensions as the WH2004A, but features a different pin configuration. While the WH2004A uses a 16-pin hole PCB, the WH2004B employs an FFC connector.
The built-in ST7066 IC provides various character font options, including English/Japanese, English/West European, English/Scandinavian European, English/Cyrillic (Russian), and Hebrew/Arabic.
