Description

The model Winstar WF57STIACDNGB is a 5.7" monochrome TFT display with a resolution of 320 x 240 QVGA. The external dimensions of the display are 160 x 109 x 8.74 mm (COG construction), with an active area of 115.2 x 86.4 mm. This display utilizes a TN positive LCD with an active matrix TFT, providing high contrast (800:1), high brightness of 800 cd/m², and fast response times. In short, the performance of this monochrome TFT display significantly outperforms traditional monochrome LCD modules in terms of contrast, brightness, and response time.

Additionally, the model is equipped with a Projected Capacitive Touch Panel (PCAP) that supports 5-point touch, making it ideal for interactive applications. The PCAP enables precise touch control and uses an I2C interface for communication, offering seamless integration with external systems.

This display does not require an extended controller board for MCU control. It can operate in 2, 4, or 16 shades of gray, depending on user settings. The display driver supports multiple communication modes: a 3- or 4-line serial interface and an 8-bit parallel interface, compatible with standard systems such as the 8080 or 6800 families. The user can select the desired mode to choose the appropriate interface for system integration. Additionally, the device can be put into sleep mode without clearing the memory contents of the display.
