Description

WINSTAR WH1602O is a LCD Display 1602 Module featuring a 16x2 character format and a COB (Chip-On-Board) structure. It is built with the ST7066 controller IC or its equivalent and supports a default 6800 4/8-bit parallel interface. This Display 1602 Module operates at 5V, offering stable performance across various embedded applications.

This model supports multiple LED backlight color options, including yellow-green, blue, green, white, amber, and red. The backlight can be driven via PIN1, PIN2, PIN15, PIN16, or A/K pins, offering flexibility in design integration.

The integrated ST7066 IC supports a wide range of character font versions, such as English/Japanese, English/Western European, English/Scandinavian European, and English/Cyrillic (Russian). Hebrew/Arabic font support is also available upon request.

The WH1602O LCD Display 1602 Module comes in two standard character sizes: 2.95 x 5.55 mm (default) and 2.95 x 4.35 mm (optional).

Two versions of the WH1602O series are available based on interface requirements:
► WH1602O: 6800 interface (ST7066 IC)
► WH1602O2: I2C interface (RW1063 IC)
