WF0840ASWAMLNB0 is an 8.4-inch TFT LCD module with a wide operating temperature range, high brightness, and wide viewing angles. The module is equipped with a projected capacitive touch screen (PCAP) and IPS technology. It has module dimensions of 199.5 x 149.0 mm, an AA of 170.8032 x 128.1024 mm, and a 1024 x 768 dots resolution. The PCAP of the display is built-in with EXC81W32 IC, supporting USB (I2C available) interface.

This TFT module is driven by ST5821AH and ST5084AA driver ICs with LVDS interfaces. The LVDS interface is becoming more and more popular for TFT displays because it is the perfect connecter for the TFT LCD modules requiring high-speed data transmission with low power consumption.

WF0840ASWAMLNB0 features an IPS panel for wide viewing angles of Left: 80/ Right: 80/ Up: 80/ Down: 80 degrees (typical value), a contrast ratio of 1000:1 (typical value), a high brightness of 800 nits (typical value). The supply voltage for Logic (VDD) of WF0840ASWAMLNB0 is from 3.0V to 3.6V, with a typical value of 3.3V. The display can operate at a wide temperature range from -30℃ to +80℃, and its storage temperature range covers from -30℃ to +80℃.
