The VATN version of WH1601A is a 2.36-inch 16x1 VATN character LCD display featuring a 5x8 dot matrix per character, including cursor support. VATN (Vertically Aligned Twisted Nematic) technology provides a black background, high contrast, and wide viewing angles for displaying characters and status information.
This 16x1 VATN LCD module features a COB (Chip-on-Board) structure with module dimensions of 80.0 x 36.0 x 13.5 mm (max.) and a viewing area of 66.0 x 16.0 mm. It incorporates the RW1063 controller IC, operates with a typical 5.0V logic supply, and supports an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C.
The display is available with red, green, blue, yellow-green, or white LED backlight options. Its negative-mode VATN display characteristics make it suitable for equipment requiring clearly visible characters and status information against a dark background, including industrial control panels, measuring instruments, UPS systems, medical equipment, and home appliances.
