Description

WH2002D is a 2.73-inch 20x2 monochrome character LCD module with 20 characters per line across 2 lines. It uses a COB (Chip on Board) structure and integrates an ST7066 LCD controller. The default configuration supports a 6800 4/8-bit parallel interface, while SPI and I2C versions are available with the RW1063 controller.

The module measures 89.0 x 21.5 x 9.0 mm, with a viewing area (VA) of 75.0 x 15.0 mm. The typical logic supply voltage is 5.0V, with a 3V version also available. Negative voltage operation is supported only with the 3V configuration. The operating temperature range is -20°C to +70°C, and the storage temperature range is -30°C to +80°C.

The WH2002D series is available with multiple LCD display modes, including positive gray, positive yellow-green, negative blue, and positive or negative FSTN options. LED backlight options include yellow-green, blue, green, white, amber, and red.

Versions using the ST7066 controller are available with multiple character font sets, including English/Japanese, Western European, Eastern European, Scandinavian European, Cyrillic (Russian), and Hebrew/Arabic.

WH2002D uses a 20-pin connection, with LED backlight power supplied through PIN17 (VLED+) and PIN18 (VLED-).
