For embedded AI applications that do not require a Linux operating system, the STM32N657 enables developers to implement vision AI and advanced graphical HMI on an MCU architecture, shortening boot time, and lowering overall system cost. Supporting both MIPI CSI-2 and parallel camera interfaces, it enables real-time image recognition, object detection, anomaly detection, while enhancing data privacy. Beyond camera vision, the platform also supports audio input, enabling offline wake-word detection and speech recognition on the HMI.
Optimized for AI Vision and Ultra-Wide HMI Applications
Unlike conventional displays sizes, the 8.8-inch IPS display with PCAP touch is specifically designed for space constraint 2U rack applications. Featuring a 1920 × 480 resolution and a 4:1 bar-type aspect ratio, it is optimized for AI vision on ultra-wide HMI applications where installation height is limited but wide information layouts are required. It enables live camera streaming with AI inference results, system status, controls, and alerts to be presented simultaneously on a single screen.
