5-inch HMI Display Development Board

WL0F00050000FGXAANA00 is a 5-inch HMI display development board designed for engineers developing industrial control systems and graphical user interface (GUI) applications. The board combines a 5-inch IPS TFT LCD module with a capacitive touch panel and a high-performance STM32U599ZIT6 MCU, providing a complete hardware platform for rapid HMI development, system evaluation, and application prototyping.

The integrated display provides 800×480 resolution, wide viewing angles (80/80/80/80), and a typical brightness of 400 cd/m², ensuring clear and stable visual output for industrial control panels and embedded graphical interfaces. The capacitive touch panel communicates via an I²C interface, enabling responsive and intuitive user interaction.

At the core of the system is the ultra-low-power STM32U599 series MCU, featuring 2MB Flash and approximately 2.5MB SRAM. The MCU integrates a GPU2D graphics accelerator and LTDC display controller, allowing efficient rendering of graphical user interfaces. In addition, the board includes 16MB external serial flash memory to store fonts, images, and other GUI assets required by HMI applications.

The development board supports multiple communication interfaces including RS485, UART, SPI, I²C, and USB Type-C (USB 2.0 OTG), and also provides a Micro SD card slot for data storage and firmware updates. With a wide input voltage range of 5–28V DC, the board can be easily integrated into various industrial and embedded systems.

To accelerate development, the platform is compatible with the STM32 development ecosystem including STM32CubeMX, STM32CubeIDE, STM32CubeProgrammer, and TouchGFX Designer. An initial code project is provided to help developers quickly start GUI design, firmware development, and system integration.
