The 16x2 Character LCD Display WH1602T is equipped with the ST7066 controller IC (or equivalent) and operates with a default 5V power supply. A 3V version is also available, but when using 3V, the negative voltage can only be supplied at 3V. The display supports the default 6800 parallel interface, with optional SPI or I2C interfaces available via the RW1063 IC.
The display is available with various LED backlight options, including blue, green, yellow-green, and red. Please note that a white LED backlight is not available for this model.
