WINSTAR's WL0F00088000BGXAANA00 is an 8.8-inch bar-type AI development board based on the STM32N657 MCU, part of the STM32N6 series. It is also the industry's first 8.8-inch bar-type HMI development board. Designed for embedded AI and STM32 AI development, it integrates an ultra-wide IPS touch display, MIPI CSI-2 and parallel camera interfaces, and on-device AI processing into a unified platform for edge AI vision and HMI applications.
Optimized for AI Vision and Ultra-Wide HMI Applications
The integrated 8.8-inch IPS display with PCAP touch serves as the visualization interface for camera input and AI inference results. Featuring a 1920 × 480 resolution and a 4:1 bar-type aspect ratio, it is optimized for AI vision and ultra-wide HMI applications where installation height is limited but wide information layouts are required. It enables live camera images, AI inference results, system status, controls, and alerts to be presented simultaneously on a single interface.
Typical applications include smart appliances, industrial control panels, off-highway vehicles, equipment monitoring systems, and embedded AI vision systems.
Edge AI Processing on an MCU Platform
Powered by the STM32N657 MCU with the Neural-ART Accelerator™ (up to 600 GOPS), the platform delivers responsive graphics and on-device AI inference without requiring cloud connectivity or a Linux-based MPU. Supporting both MIPI CSI-2 and parallel camera interfaces, it enables real-time image acquisition and local AI processing for faster response, offline operation, and enhanced data privacy. The platform supports AI workloads such as image classification, object detection, anomaly detection, and intelligent user interaction, making it well suited for embedded vision applications.
Product status: Reliability validation is in progress. Mass production sample availability is expected in approximately 2–3 months.
