The WH2002AR Series is a 20x2 (20 Characters x 2 Lines) LCD display module designed with convenience and versatility in mind. Sharing identical dimensions with the WH2002A series (default 16-pin 6800 interface), including PCB size, LCD dimensions, and frame size, this module offers seamless compatibility with existing setups while providing enhanced functionality.
Measuring at 116x37 mm in module dimensions, the WH2002AR Series features an active area of 73.5x11.5 mm. Equipped with the ST7066U controller IC, this module supports a default UART interface, with the option for SPI/I2C interface via jumper configuration. The WH2002AR series offers a brand new instruction set, eliminating the need to understand the ST7066U LCD Controller commands. Setting up the display is made effortless through the built-in MCU and instruction set, allowing users to focus solely on application layer programming. Additionally, users can easily adjust backlight brightness and LCD contrast using commands listed in the instruction set.
Designed with ease of integration in mind, the module comes with a PCB board and frame, featuring four screw holes on the PCB for secure attachment to various applications. The supply voltage for logic ranges from 4.5V to 5.5V, with typical values at 5V, ensuring stable and reliable performance. Additionally, it boasts an operating temperature range from -20 to +70℃, while the storage temperature spans from -30 to +80℃, making it suitable for deployment in diverse environmental conditions.
