15.6-inch Full HD HDMI TFT LCD with PCAP Touch
WINSTAR introduces the WF1560BSYFA5EHBV, a new 15.6-inch HDMI TFT LCD module with Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, 800 cd/m² brightness, wide viewing angles, and a projected capacitive touch panel (PCAP). The module integrates a control board and supports Full HD HDMI video input.
The PCAP touch interface is provided through USB Type-C, while the display operates from a separate 12V power input. The PCBA has also passed EMI Class B testing. This model is designed for industrial HMI, embedded systems, control equipment, and other applications requiring a large-format Full HD touch display.

5.2-inch IPS Bar Type TFT LCD Series
WINSTAR expands its 5.2-inch bar type TFT LCD lineup with three new IPS models featuring a 480 x 128 resolution and 85/85/85/85-degree wide viewing angles. The new series provides an additional IPS option alongside the existing TN models for applications requiring wider viewing angles.
The series includes three configurations: a 500 cd/m² standard-brightness model, a 1100 cd/m² high-brightness model, and an 880 cd/m² high-brightness model with multi-touch PCAP. All three models support a 24-bit RGB interface, allowing designers to select the brightness and touch configuration according to their application requirements.
PMOLED Integration for Local Displays in 1U Network Equipment
In 1U network equipment, front-panel space is limited and is often occupied by network ports, LED indicators, management interfaces, and control elements. When service personnel need direct access to device identification, network settings, system status, or fault information, a local display can provide more detailed information than LED indicators alone without requiring immediate access to a remote management interface.
This article examines the role of local displays in 1U network equipment, the information they can provide during deployment and maintenance, and the design considerations for integration within limited front-panel space. It also discusses how PMOLED, with its thin, backlight-free structure, high contrast, and wide viewing angles, can provide a compact display option when local information is required without a complex color GUI or touch interface.

Monochrome TFT LCD Displays: Technology and Advantages
Monochrome displays are widely used in industrial and embedded systems where full-color graphics are not required. While STN and DFSTN LCDs remain suitable for many applications, monochrome TFT LCDs provide another option when higher contrast, faster response, and improved pixel control are required.
This article explains how monochrome TFT technology differs from traditional STN and DFSTN LCDs and examines its key characteristics, including high contrast, fast response, grayscale support, and MCU-friendly integration. It also discusses when a monochrome TFT may be considered for industrial equipment, control systems, instrumentation, and other embedded applications.
